Your Scent Sanctuary diffuser is designed to release fragrance gradually through its wooden cap and reeds. A little care when setting it up helps keep the diffuser clean, secure and performing as intended.

Setting up your diffuser

  1. Keep the vial upright and remove the transit cap.
  2. Fit the wooden cap and vent-clip assembly securely, then insert the supplied reeds.
  3. Prime the wooden cap before fitting it to the vent. Give the assembled diffuser a gentle shake so a small amount of fragrance reaches the wood.
  4. It is completely normal for the oil to spread through or slightly darken the wooden cap.
  5. If you can see excess fragrance, dab the cap gently with a tissue and make sure the outside of the vial is clean and dry.
  6. Fit the diffuser upright to a compatible vehicle vent.

Refreshing the scent

When you want to refresh the fragrance, remove the diffuser from the vent first. Give it another gentle shake, check for excess liquid, dab it if necessary, make sure the outside is dry and then refit it.

Do not shake or prime the diffuser while it is attached to the vent.

Fragrance strength

Fragrance strength naturally varies. Temperature, fragrance composition, the position of the diffuser and the surrounding environment can all affect how noticeable a scent feels. A warmer cabin may increase diffusion, while colder conditions can make it more subtle.

The diffuser can also be used upright in a small personal space such as a desk or home office. It is not intended to fragrance an entire room.
